The food was amazing! Can go wrong with Butter chicken and raisin bread. Also Mr May was very helpful answering questions and providing us excellent service.
Food was delicious. We had the butter chicken with naan bread (the one with the raisins). The service from Mr. May was exceptional.
The food was amazing and close to the theater. The butter chicken was great and the server Mr.May assisted us in what to pick. My family enjoyed the music and nice table settings. The prices were reasonable. The appetizers were good especially the garlic naan, and everything was hot to serve. The price was reasonable with all the food we got!
EVERYTHING was amazing here! the food was so good. the portion sizes were amazing and whoever served us helped us decide on what a good amount of food for us would be. next time i'm back in london im definitely stopping here again. and it seemed like they stayed there later for us and didn't rush us out!

What a fortuitous find! Was itching for Chicken Tikka Masala but Dishoom was full. Went to Strand Tandoori and got a nice table with a calm environment. Manager was very helpful and pleasant. The chicken curry was even better than the Tikka Masala. The vegetable side fish was delicious. Nothing was too spicy- flavors were perfect. Garlic nan was spot on too. Highly recommend this place- will be coming back the next time we're in London
We arrived in London today. First visit. We went on a long walk and came across this restaurant on our way back to the hotel. We stood outside, looking at their menu. One of the servers came to the door and greeted us with a smile, inviting us is. The place is small, but clean and comfortable. We chose the chicken tika masala, rice, and naan flat bread, served by the cordial Mr. Miah. Everything was tasty and the portions were generous. We're glad we stopped in!
So happy after lockdown to come back to London from Florida and visit the Strand Tandoori. Can't beat the hospitality, amazing food and first class service. Definitely a go to while in London... you won't be sorry.
